Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Murapi MedHub platform ("Platform") at murapi.co.zw, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Platform on behalf of a medical practice or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Murapi MedHub is a cloud-based medical practice management platform designed for healthcare providers in Zimbabwe. The Platform provides tools for patient management, appointment scheduling, clinical consultation recording, billing and invoicing, medical aid claims management, staff management, and analytics reporting.

3. Account Registration and Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

  • Be a registered healthcare provider, medical practice, or authorised staff member thereof
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorised use of your account

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Murapi MedHub is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

4.1 Subscription Tiers

The Platform is offered on a subscription basis with the following tiers:

  • Solo: $49 USD per month — 1 practitioner
  • Clinic: $129 USD per month — up to 5 practitioners
  • Multi-Branch: $299 USD per month — unlimited practitioners

4.2 Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features of the selected plan. No credit card is required for the trial period. After the trial, a subscription payment is required to continue using the Platform.

4.3 Payment

Subscription fees are payable monthly or annually in advance. We accept payment via PayNow (Web/Card, EcoCash, OneMoney) and bank transfer. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. Annual subscriptions are available at a 20% discount.

4.4 Late Payment

If a subscription invoice remains unpaid after the due date, the Platform will enter a grace period of 7 days during which read-only access is maintained. After the grace period, access will be suspended until payment is received.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable Zimbabwean or international laws or regulations
  • Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its related systems
  • Use the Platform to store or transmit malicious code or harmful content
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorised persons
  • Use the Platform to process data for any purpose other than legitimate healthcare management

6. Healthcare Data and Compliance

You acknowledge that you are responsible for ensuring your use of the Platform complies with all applicable healthcare regulations in Zimbabwe, including but not limited to the Health Professions Act [Chapter 27:19] and the Medical and Dental Practitioners Act.

You are the data controller for all patient health information entered into the Platform. You must obtain appropriate patient consent for the collection and processing of health information and must comply with all applicable data protection obligations.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, design, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by Murapi MedHub and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform solely for your internal business purposes.

You retain ownership of all data you input into the Platform. By using the Platform, you grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the services described in these Terms.

8. Data Backup and Export

While we maintain regular backups of Platform data, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical patient and practice data. The Platform provides data export functionality for this purpose. We are not liable for data loss resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain Platform availability 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from Platform downtime or service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Murapi MedHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Platform in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Murapi MedHub, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may cancel your subscription through the Platform's subscription management page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or fail to pay subscription fees.

Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days. After this period, we may delete your data in accordance with our data retention policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.
